Western Pennsylvania Fairie Festival

There is a bumper crop of Faerie events this year, and the first annual Western Pennsylvania Fairie Festival promises to be a good one. Starting on June 10th, this two-day celebration includes diverse music and performers, you can meet artists from the Fairies World books, join Fairie dances, shop from arts and crafts vendors, and see a special parade of the Fairie Queen and her followers. Candice Night (pictured above, of Blackmore’s Night) is to be crowned Official 2006 Queen of the Fairies. The festival is held at Cooper’s Lake in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania (USA).
