Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab Perfumes
Over the last few years the Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab has seen it’s fan base grow and grow. And no wonder, when you see the olfactory delights they have on offer. They focus on the dark, bewitching and mysterious, and there are plenty of Faerie themed scents to choose from. For example ‘Fae – A brilliant, ethereal scent: white musk, bergamot, heliotrope, peach and oakmoss’; the milk, honey and grain based ‘Dana O’Shee’ or the intoxicating ‘Leanan Sidhe - a crush of Irish herbs and flowers, Gaelic mists, and night time dew’. The Illyria collection includes scents for the Faerie King and Queen themselves, Oberon and Titania.
There is a sometimes bewildering array of different scents to chose from, but don’t worry. Samples (or Imps Ears as they’re called) are available. There is also a network of BPAL customers who swap unwanted scents if you don’t feel suited to the perfumes you chose.

I’ve been a BPAL customer for two years– Fae was among the first scent I tried. It was a soft, glistening peach with a nice baby-powder scent behind it. Titania is all white pear and grape with soft white flowers. Leanan Sidhe was very herbal and clean, Aeval was sweet-pea based. Dana O’Shee is creamy milk and almonds.
Your order will have about a one-month turnaround, but trust me, it’s worth it. If you want to read scent reviews, the BPAL forum at http://www.bpal.org is the best place to start.
