Brendan Monroe is an American artist with a reputation for fine line drawings of unusual creatures and nature spirits. Any toy based on his art was going to be something special and ever so slightly odd. ‘Sour’ from Android 8 is just such a release. Based on paintings and sculptures created by Brendan for gallery exhibitions, these odd fellows stand about 10″ tall and have interchangeable faces so you can mix and match your favourite expression with your favourite stump body colour. There are four different versions, two of which are limited editions available from Android 8 only. One is available only from the American toy store Munky King and the forth will go on general release. They are very limited to only a few hundred items each so if you want a little tree spirit in your home or office you had better move fast!
