Victorian Fairy Harp Music

There is none so magical a sound than that from a harp, and what could be more magical that fairy harp music? Elizabeth Jane Baldry, a professional harpist since 1994 and ‘England’s unofficial Fairy Harpist’ has rediscovered a wealth of Victorian scores based on fairy tales and folklore. Her album, ‘Harp of Wild and Dreamlike Strain’ was first released several years ago but it continues to captivate new listeners today. As well as performing at many faerie events, such as the unveiling of the newly restored Elfin Oak and the opening of the Royal Academy of Arts Victorian Fairy Art exhibition, Elizabeth is also available to play at weddings creating a truly fairytale day. When not making music you will find Elizabeth behind the camera, writing and directing short films based around traditional folk stories.
