Medieval Moccasins

When putting together a costume, be it for a faire or festival or just for fun, you can spend days agonising over the details and still overlook one important aspect – footwear. While it is arguable what type of shoes a faerie would wear, or if indeed they would need them at all, it is often impractical to go barefoot (and most of us don’t hover above the ground!). Medieval Moccasins make Celtic and Renaissance inspired boots, shoes and sandals, and just may be what you are looking for. Based on the traditional Scottish ‘Ghillie’, each pair is handcrafted in leather and come in a variety of different lengths. With a dazzling array of colours (including some very pretty metallic leathers) there are many, many faerie costumes these shoes would finish off perfectly.
