Crow Mountain Doll House
October 20th, 2006

Paula Johnson’s enchanting cloth fairies and mermaids are inspired by her love of Fairytales and nature, with a dose of vintage style giving them an instant heirloom quality. A doll maker since 1998, Paula crafts each doll from fabric with sweet hand-painted faces, lovely flowing mohair locks and silk petal outfits. While you will find a selection of characters for sale on the website, there are also patterns available for those who would like to turn their own hand to fabric fairies. Alternatively you can join one of the online classes to make dolls using her patterns with advice direct from Paula.

I thought an update was needed here. I’m Paula, but not “Johnson” any longer. The past few years have brought many changes and evolving for me. Some bad things occured but new wonderful things are happening of which are… I am newly married and I never in my wildest dreams thought I would fall in love much less marry again. And this time it’s for keeps, I love him so much and he to me as well…
I also have gotten the dolls started up again. It’s a lot of work, but work that is so much a part of me that I can’t imagine not ever doing it again. Dollmaking and artwork of many mediums are so much a part of me it’s like the air I breathe.
There now you have a little bit of what’s been keeping me busy and know that there are many new creations coming from The Enchanted Doll House…..
Love ~P~
Paula, I am new to your websites and somewhat new to the world of computers. I really do love it and probably spending to much time navigating around, but would not have found your beautiful creations, otherwise. I do so love the colors, clothing, the face expressions, names and the different sizes. Thanks so much for sewing what I imagine. Shirley
