Ronny Vardy’s Faerie Girls

January 15th, 2007

Ladybug by Ronny Vardy

Ronny Vardy’s wonderful faerie paintings take cues from many different artistic styles, from Art Nouveau to Vargas’ pin-ups. Despite the historical references her girls have a distinctly modern edge with ripped fishnets, sneakers and hot pants! They are cute and saucy and a little bit naughty, but tremendous fun. Ronny also paints beautifully evocative oil paintings and is an instructor for the Associates in Art.
