Fairy Tale Cottage for Sale
April 17th, 2007

A rare opportunity has arisen to buy a real life fairy tale cottage in the heart of Devon, with the sale of artist and author Terri Windling’s home. Set in a charming village on the edge of Dartmoor, the thatched 16th Century house looks enchanting enough as it is. But the interior holds the real surprise, with wall murals painted by Brain Froud, Alan Lee, Charles Vess and other mythic artists. The price tag is none too cheap, but for someone with the money this would make the perfect retreat and unique cosy home. Hopefully whoever buys it will preserve the murals!
