Barbara Brown is a fantasy artist whose repertoire include enchanted maidens, fearsome dragons and mystical mermaids. The paintings are produced using traditional watercolours and acrylics as well as digitally. Barbara has also created some lovely dolls in the past, but has given that up to concentrate solely on painting. The images are available as prints and on a range of merchandise.

These vintage treasures include cases, baskets, tin plate toys and even watering cans that have been given a new lease of life as very desirable miniature cottages. Each house is crammed full of details giving a clue to the owners tastes and personality. Here you will find cosy cottages, faerie farmsteads and all manner of essential emporia, each lavishly adorned with flowers and foliage and miniature accessories.

Dink, The Cake Loving Pixie

This little cutie is a prototype for a new art toy by Miss Mindy from Kaching Brands. Standing 8” tall and made of vinyl, this mischievous vintage-styled pixie will be available in colour and mono editions, as shown above, and a secret edition. Dink will be released at the San Diego Comic Con in July.
Miss Mindy also has several faerie paintings on her site, along with an excellent little story – Circus de la Faeries.
