Artist of the Month – Chris Down

August’s Artist of the Month is Chris Down, from Wiltshire, UK. After a long career as an illustrator specialising in Celtic designs, Chris has begun producing faerie and fantasy art. The paintings are digital, although he is also accomplished in pen and ink, and traditional paint. Chris has contributed art to over 35 book projects, including ‘The Crafter’s Design Library: Fantasy’, an essential source book of tips and motifs.
