Metal & Magic – Art by Ursula Vernon

Ursula Vernon is a talented multi-media artist who most commonly creates images of wombats and other anthropomorphic beasties, but lurking in her galleries are quite a few of Faerie’s more unusual creatures – sewer mermaids, orcs, and goblins. It is really nice to see an artist tackling the less ‘picturesque’ denizens of the Other Realms, and with both humor and style. And the humor is a lot more random and darker that the initial cuteness of the characters imply.
