Peter Pan & Elizabeth-Jane Baldry

Bristol Silents presents an evening of music and classic cinema with a screening of Peter Pan (1924) with musical accompaniment by Elizabeth-Jane Baldry. The 1924 Paramount Pictures version of Peter Pan was the first film adaptation of JM Barrie’s play, and was celebrated at the time for the special effects used to portray Tinker Bell. Elizabeth-Jane Baldry is the UK’s foremost ‘Fairy Harpist’, and will be performing an improvised harp solo live at the screening. There will be a discussion on Victorian fairies and fairy culture before the recital commences. This event takes place on Sunday 27th November at St Georges, Bristol.
