Something Else Studio

Jannelle Olmstead is the multi-talented artist behind Something Else Studio. Whether you are dressing for a wedding, faire, festival or just for fancy there is a wide selection of absolutely beautiful wreaths and headdresses, incorporating luscious foliage, crystals and fabrics. Jannelle also makes a wonderful array of purse pockets and bags and wedding festival wear, and paints both fabric and wood (as can be seen on the painted pocket bags). The studio was started in 1995 after Jannelle completed a Fine Art Degree at Eastern Michigan University, and she is now a travelling merchant at Renaissance and Faerie festivals around the USA.

I love Jannelle’s stuff I have bought several bags from Jannelle as well as her head dressed. I feel they are great quality. I also love looking at her web sight and I’m lucky enough to get to her place to look at some of the she is working on as well as her studio. I love her stuff. I also love faeries and am really glad to see Something Else Studios.
