Fairy Land Magic

Step into the old potting shed, and prepare to be amazed – for here be fairies! Utilising state of the art multi-sensory technology (or is it fairy dust?) Fairy Land Magic creates a fully immersive three-dimensional visitor attraction. Visitors enter the shed and watch as the fairies come out to play and interact with the crowd, their message to teach people about the environment, safety and thinking of others.
The Fairy Land Potting Shed is still at the proposal stage, but having seen other attractions by parent company RMA in UK museums this promises to be something special. Until it finds a real-life home, visitors can explore the Fairyland Magic website, which features kid-friendly games and puzzles and a shop.

The awe-inspiring performances include a statue of a woman who comes alive as delicate jets of water fountain from her fingers; devine – a seemingly ordinary vine draped across a wall which gracefully animates; an exotic orchid who interacts with astonished onlookers; and a man hewn from rock who can disappear into his habitat.

Their site is home to extensive galleries of previous events as well as profiles for each of the Faeries. You can also find a small shop with prints and the most adorable one of a kind fashion doll Faerie makeovers.

Posie the Fairy entertaining children

If you’ve been to the Spoutwood Farm Fairie Festival you’ll probably have seen Posie, one of the ‘celebrefairies’ and co-producer of the event. Throughout the rest of the year Posie brings a little of that faerie fun to children’s parties in the South Central Pennsylvania (USA) area and creates a vast array of fantasy wearables including wings, horns and wands. There is a choice of party packages, where guests are transformed into fairies or dragons and participate in a variety of activities, games and crafts.
