A Thank You To Our Sponsors!

April 14th, 2010

A warm welcome to our newest sponsors, and a huge thank you to all, past and present, who have chosen to advertise on Fae Nation. Your support is deeply appreciated!

Firefly Path is the official website of costume designer and make up artist JoEllen Elam (aka Lillyxandra). The galleries are bursting with jaw-droppingly stunning costumes. It is all very inspiring, and best of all, commissions are undertaken!

Sihaya Designs is the work of Christina, who hand crafts the loveliest treasures for fantasy folk. New to the range are the pressed faerie wings. Christina also offers gorgeous candles and oils for sale in her Etsy store.

Wee Folk Outfitters sell ‘everything you need to keep the wee folk happy’. Head Gnome Sean Fulkerson makes the most delightful fairy doors (and Gnome, Hobbit, Elf, Leprechaun, Sprite, Brownie, Pixie, Nymph and Dryad doors too), to invite any stray Wee Folk into the comfort of your own home.

New Advertising Package Available

April 8th, 2010

After four years I decided it was time to overhaul the advertising package offered by Fae Nation. To make it simple there is now one size of advert available, and the rate for the full 12 months has been reduced to just £40. Further details can be found here.

I would also like to invite authors, musicians and others offering Faerie-related products to submit their work for review. Likewise, we are keen to hear from businesses who can offer prizes for future giveaways and special offers for Fae Nation readers. Please contact me if you are interested.

FAE Magazine Subscription Giveaway!

April 1st, 2010

We have a 1 year subscription to Faeries and Enchantment Magazine to give away to one lucky reader. To enter, leave a comment on this post (one per person, please!).
Just for fun, tell me what your favourite faerie book is (no particular reason, I am just being nosey here!).

Comments must be posted before May 1st. The winner will be picked by random draw and announced on the site. Please make sure you use a valid email address so I can get in touch if you are picked.

Good luck!

And the winner is Rachel P! Congratulations!

Thank you to everyone who entered and shared their favourite faerie books. I have quite a few new ones to add to my reading list now!

Faerie Calendar Competition

October 17th, 2009

The publishers of The Magical Times have just released a new Magical Faerie calendar for 2010. The calendar celebrates the world of fantasy and fairy art and features work by Josephine Wall, Linda Ravenscroft, Wendy Andrew, Chris Down, Priscilla Hernandez, Esther Remmington, Sue Clyne, Julia Jeffrey, Judy Mastrangelo, Anita Luckett and Susan Rodio. Each month days of magical interest are marked. The calendar is FSC certified, meaning the paper used is from sustainable sources.

We have two calendars to give away to our readers. Just answer the following question and submit your name and address using the form below. The competition closes on November 30th and the winners will be announced here. Good luck!

Question: Who publishes the Magical Faerie Calendar?

Congratulations to our winners, Debbie K and Robert W!
