These lovely little faeries in bottles are the work of Magical Oddities. Each one is handmade, coming in a variety of pretty colours for bodies and wings, each with their own little story The bottles are 3″ wide and a little under 4.5″ tall, which gives you an idea of just how dainty the little faery inside is. They are looking for homes where they will get plenty of adoration, so I’m sure all the faery fanciers out there will be willing to oblige…

Epic Fantasy Ball-Joined Dolls

December 13th, 2010

I am completely in awe of these beautiful fantasy dolls from Soom Emporium. The newest release is Shoshon-The First Cánë, shown above. Previous monthly limited edition dolls include Centaur Epidos, Aphan the Faun and Chalco the Forest King. Sadly for me they come with an equally impressive price tag, so I can only admire from afar, but if you happen to have the money there are probably far worse things you could spend it on!

Aldana, aka Lindsey Goodbun, is an upcoming British fantasy artist, working predominately digitally. While dragons are Lindsey’s preferred mythical creature, faeries and unicorns also make their appearances, and I love the little toadstool houses she has also recently begun making. Please visit Lindsey’s site for signed prints and other merchandise.
