Mystical Flora Fairies Doll Collection

March 14th, 2009

I am quite excited to see a new collectible doll based on Jasmine Beckett-Griffith’s artwork, the Mytical Flora Fairies. Jasmine’s unique style has translated wonderfully into doll form, with each character being based on her ‘Flowers’ series.  They have been released by Ashton Drake, who also make the popular Blythe dolls (and others). The first in the series, Regina the Rose Fairy is available to order now.

Whispering Willow Fairies

The Whispering Willow Fairies are a collection of posable fairy dolls from Charisma Dolls. The range includes tiny butterfly winged Wee Willow Fairy Babes, pretty Fairy Whispers, the elegant Royal Willow Fairies and the more earthy but mischevous Pixies, Leprechauns and Hodekens. All the Whispering Willow Fairies have been designed by German fantasy doll artist Silke Janas-Schlösser.

Bookends by Goblins UK

Artists Francesca and David began making and selling Goblins at craft shows over 16 years ago. The range of humorous figures are hand crafted in the UK and include single figures and groupings, shelf sitters, bookends and a fantastic selection of shoes. No two Goblins are ever the same, and custom goblins are available. How about the bride and groom as an unusual wedding cake topper?

Goblins at FAO

FAO Schwarz present an exclusive line of plush figures based on the book, Brian Froud’s ‘Goblins!’. They may look cute and cuddly, but these little mischief makers are definitely up to no good. There are 6 designs to chose from and are priced at $45 each. FAO Schwarz have stores in New York and Las Vegas, and sell on-line (although unfortunately they don’t ship outside the USA!).
