This little cutie is a prototype for a new art toy by Miss Mindy from Kaching Brands. Standing 8” tall and made of vinyl, this mischievous vintage-styled pixie will be available in colour and mono editions, as shown above, and a secret edition. Dink will be released at the San Diego Comic Con in July.
Miss Mindy also has several faerie paintings on her site, along with an excellent little story – Circus de la Faeries.
Jareth the Goblin King Action Figure

A must for all of those who have wished for a Goblin King of your very own! Standing 7 inches tall and highly detailed, the figure also comes with interchangeable hands, a crystal ball and a little goblin companion. Jareth was played by David Bowie in the classic fantasy film ‘Labyrinth’, and the likeness is pretty good overall. The Goblin King is the debut figure from NECA’s ‘Cult Classics Presents’ line and is due for release soon.

Faerie doll artist Rosie Bair has teamed up with Land of Myth and Not to bring you ‘Splat Faeries!’. These faeries have obviously not been flying with due care and attention and have met with an unfortunate accident. There are three designs to choose from and each one comes with a suction cup and hook to hang wherever you want (they look great on windows) or a magnet for metal surfaces.
Land of Myth and Not also produce three figurines based on Rosie’s dolls, as well as a range of faerie bootie necklaces. On Rosie’s own website ‘Widdle Faeries’ you will find her one of a kind polymer clay art dolls for sale.
A Faery for Every Season

A Faery for Every Season is a cute Café Press store offering gifts and apparel themed by seasonal holidays. All the major holidays are there – Christmas, Easter, Halloween and so on, in addition to events like Earth Day (celebrated in America today!) and International Fairy Day. There is also a range of birthday month faeries and every day slogans and pictures.

“As the sun sets and day melts into night, fairies fly high above the earth and hang stars in the sky to light their way. One fairy in particular has a very big job – collecting lost baby teeth and leaving coins or small gifts in their place!”
Tooth Fairy Barbie was created by designer Sharon Zuckerman, and comes dressed in a flowing gown with iridescent wings and wand. The doll also includes a little keepsake pouch to hold lost teeth. This is a Pink Label collectors doll and is available in most large toy stores.

Simply the most charming thing I’ve seen in a long time, these miniature Fairy Shoes are the work of a British artist named Nikki Brown. Nikki and her assistant Vicky Baugh individually design and handcraft each pair in polymer clay using the millefiore technique. The dinky little shoes are under two inches long and come in a dazzling array of styles. Each unique pair comes in a gift box and with a signed certificate of authenticity, making them an excellent present (if you can bear to give them away that is!).

Norm Lanier has been creating Haunted Portraits since 2004, and has now stepped into the fantasy world. Grim Fairy Galleries presents ‘Enchantographs’ – amazing 3D prints created from well-known fantasy artist’s work. The special printing process gives the image the illusion of being 3D, so the images really ‘pop’ out at you. At the moment three prints are available of Jasmine Becket-Griffith’s art, each is limited to strictly 250 editions.

Paper Dreams is a new venture which marries the popular pastime of scrapbooking and journal keeping with the current enthusiasm for all things Faerie. The range of handmade paper products feature art by a selection of contemporary fantasy artists, such as Jacqueline Collen-Tarrolly, Wendy Kathleen, Jessica Galbreth, Kim Turner and Victoria Griffin.
The paper journals, photo albums, stationery sets and note pads are handmade in India and Thailand and are then decorated with faery art and hand embellished with decorative ‘bits’ making each one unique. I especially like the little twig pencils that come with the journals. There are also non-paper products like tin wall tiles and metal flower buckets.
The Paper Dreams site is for wholesale customers, but there is a retail site in the works.
