Narsilion

The name Narsilion comes from Elfish, meaning song of the Sun and Moon. Narsilion are a Spanish-based trio who produce gorgeous fantasy ethereal folk. Fans of the neo-medieval and heavenly voices genres would also find much to adore in their music. The group have released two full length albums to date, Nerbeleth and Arcadia, containing songs of melancholy magic, enchanted landscapes and mythical creatures.

Hailing from Barcelona, Trobar de Morte are an enchanting Medieval, Folk and Fantasy band. The project began in 1999 with founder member Lady Morte, and two full length CDs have been released to date – Fairydust and Reverie. A third, Legends of Blood and Light, will be available soon. The beautiful melodies and Lady Morte’s vocals transport the listener to a fantastical Medieval era, where faeries haunt the forests and witches dance by the light of the moon.

John Kelly and Maite Itoiz are the two musicians at the core of the Tales from the Secret Forest project. The stage show consists of 12 talented musicians who blend rock and traditional Celtic music to create an epic fantasy musical along side two dancers and an acrobat in the guise of faeries to complete the visual spectacle. The album was recorded using a full symphonic orchestra and is proving very popular in the charts since its release. Fans can also buy a DVD of the show which comes with a beautiful booklet featuring Maite’s illustrations.
