“I paint to survive, so the fruits of my imagination are born from life, from my experiences and surroundings. I need to seek refuge from the dreary world so I’m attracted by the supernatural, and the spiritual realms, thus I seek mystery. Adventures of the mind are not only fascinating, they’re impregnated with freedom and are always available to the curious being.”

What began some 30 years ago to fill the time in between gigs (LorAnge was a singer/songwriter), quickly became a passion, some would say an obsession, for creating magical paintings. Exploring the realm of faeries, angels and all things mysterious, spiritual or magical has allowed the artist to intuit and poetically express all he wants.
Some of LorAnge’s artworks can be found as illustrations for books, magazines, CDs etc, it first and foremost remains as fine art as it is created freely and for expressive reasons.
