Shona M MacDonald

Shona M MacDonald was born in the north east of England in 1968 where she still lives today with her partner and their three cats. She trained in Graphic Design at art college but has always been drawn to myths and folklore, fairytales and nature as sources of inspiration for her watercolour paintings.
She works part time in an IT job but began painting again in 2005 after several years making and selling miniature bears. Working at weekends and in the evenings, she is happiest when painting the magical creatures and spirits that live in the Wild Wood, along with the plants, trees and toadstools they call home.
